Summer Student Employment Opportunities

We are currently recruiting students for summer job opportunities for the 2024 summer season.

If you are currently enrolled in secondary school or a post-secondary program and will be returning to school in the fall of 2024, you are encouraged to apply!

List of positions

The following positions are available:

  • (1) Sewage Disposal System Maintenance Program Assistant (Building Department- 16 weeks; 35 hours/week)
  • (1) Information Centre Student (Economic Development Department – 16 weeks; 35 hours/week)
  • (1) Cemetery Database Student (Parks & Property Department – 16 weeks; 35 hours/week)

Additional requirements

Please note, for positions where you may be required to drive in the execution of your duties, a Class G2 or G Driver's Licence is mandatory. You will also be required to provide an acceptable driver's abstract and a criminal reference check.

Contract lengths

Most positions listed above are available from the beginning of May through to the end of August for a total of 16 weeks.
