Sale of Surplus Trucks by Public Tender

The Municipality of Highlands East is accepting tenders for the sale of surplus trucks.

The trucks will be available for viewing at the Highlands East Roads Garage located at 19897 Hwy. 118, Wilberforce, ON, by appointment only. Please contact Brett Charboneau, Operations Supervisor at 705-448-1595 or bcharboneau@highlandseast.ca to schedule an appointment. 

The trucks will be sold on an “as is, where is” basis.

Submission details

A bid deposit or tender bond equal to 10% of the tender amount is required with submission. In the event of a tie amount, the tender bid that comes in first will be awarded the tender.

The invoice will be paid in full before the surplus truck is released to the successful bidder. Highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Sealed tenders, clearly marked “Tender RFT-07-2025 2010, International Tandem Plow Truck" or "RFT-08-2025 - 2014, International Tandem Plow Truck” are to be submitted to the attention of the contact provided below on or before Friday, November 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.:
