The Voter's List
Checking and updating of the Voter's List is no longer available online through Elections Ontario.
Voters who wish to be added to the Voter's List or make changes to their voter information may do so by completing our online Application to Amend Voter's List (EL15) form. You will be required to provide supporting documentation, such as government-issued photo identification and proof of your qualifying address.
Voters can also visit the Municipal Office located at 2249 Loop Road between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to be added or make changes to their voter information.
Qualifications of Electors
A person is entitled to be an elector at an election held in a local municipality if on voting day, he or she,
- resides in the local municipality, or is the owner or tenant of land there, or the spouse of such owner or tenant; and
- is a Canadian Citizen; and
- is at least 18 years old; and
- is not prohibited from voting under Section 17 Subsection 3 or otherwise by law.
Key Dates for Electors
Monday, June 1, 2026
- Last day to review or change your school support designation. To learn more, visit school-support.mpac.ca.
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
- Last day to check and make revisions or add electors to the voters list through Elections Ontario by visiting registertovoteon.ca.
Early October 2026
- Voter Information Letters are expected to be delivered to eligible electors beginning in early October. The letter will include the information needed to participate in the 2026 Municipal Election.
Tuesday, October 14, 2026
- Contact the Municipal Office if you have not received a Voter Information Letter using our Application for Re-Issue of a Voter's Information Letter (VIL) form.
Friday, October 16, 2026
- Advance Voting begins at 9:00 a.m.
Monday, October 26, 2026
- Election Day: Voting ends at 8:00 p.m.
