Wilberforce Mural Restored by Local Artist Luann Coghlan

A big Thank You to local artist Luann Coghlan and her team of volunteers, who spent approximately 70 hours over 14 days in September carefully restoring this community landmark located on the fire hall in Wilberforce.

Luann’s dedication and artistic talent have helped ensure this mural can be enjoyed for years to come.

The mural, which depicts local resident Reg Schofield receiving a hero’s welcome home following the Second World War, is an important piece of Wilberforce’s local history and was in need of repair and restoration.

The original mural was painted by artist Allen Hilgendorf.
