Notice of Temporary Closure of Eels Landing Boat Launch

The Municipality of Highlands East would like to advise property owners and boat launch users that improvements will be taking place at the Eels Landing Boat Launch from October 18 through October 27, 2026.

During this period, the boat launch will be closed to all users and will not be accessible for launching or retrieving watercraft.

As part of this project, the existing boat launch will be replaced with a new concrete boat ramp measuring approximately 60 feet long and 12 feet wide, improving access and functionality for boaters.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is being completed. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption and reopen the boat launch as soon as the project is completed.
