Notice of Road Construction on Highway 118

The Ministry of Transportation has contracted GIP Paving Inc. for 12.4 km of construction on Highway 118 between Loon Lake Road to Hadlington Road. Construction activities will consist of grading, drainage, granular, base, hot mix paving, culverts and pipe liners.

Construction will start on August 4, 2026, with completion expected in October 2026.

Expect Lane Closures

Single lane closures on Highway 118 in both the eastbound and westbound directions can be expected throughout the construction season.
