Notice of Filming

Starting Wednesday July 1, 2026 until approximately Wednesday August 15, Matt Barnett of Colour & Motion will be in our communities filming a short documentary series about Highlands East.

The series has been commissioned by The Municipality of Highlands East to celebrate the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of the amalgamation of the townships.

Mr. Barnett will be visiting Cardiff, Gooderham, Highland Grove, Tory Hill, and Wilberforce to capture the day-to-day life and general ambience of each area.

You may see him filming seemingly mundane things, or capturing footage of people going about their daily routines. Additionally, you may be approached for an interview.

If you have any questions or concerns, or do not wish to be filmed, please feel free to approach Matt with your request, any footage of you will be deleted upon your request.
