The Voter's List
Election's Ontario now oversees the Voter's List. All residents are encouraged to check the list to see if you are on it and that your information is accurate.
Do not just assume you are on the list.

Qualifications of Electors
A person is entitled to be an elector at an election held in a local municipality if on voting day, he or she,
- resides in the local municipality, or is the owner or tenant of land there, or the spouse of such owner or tenant; and
- is a Canadian Citizen; and
- is at least 18 years old; and
- is not prohibited from voting under Section 17 Subsection 3 or otherwise by law.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026
- Last day to check and make revisions or add electors to the voters list through Elections Ontario by visiting registertovoteon.ca.
