2019 Summer Student Job Opportunities
The Municipality of Highlands East is currently recruiting students for summer employment for 2019.
If you are currently enrolled in secondary school or a post-secondary program and returning to school in September 2019, you are encouraged to apply for an opportunity.
The following various positions are available with the municipality:
- (2), Sewage Disposal System Maintenance Inspectors (Building Department)
- (2), Parks & Recreation Attendants (Parks & Property Department)
- (1), Information Centre Student (Economic Development Department)
- (1), Clerical Assistant (Administration Department)
- (2), Summer Landfill Attendants (Environmental Department)
- (6), Lifeguards (Pool & Beach Summer Swim Program)
Please note, for positions where you may be required to drive in the execution of your duties, a Class G2 or G Driver's Licence is mandatory. You will also be required to provide an acceptable driver's abstract and a criminal reference check.
Most positions listed above are available from the beginning of May through to the end of August for a total of 16 weeks.
